I know that in Texas things are a little liberal with weapons but 
leaving a hand gun in an unlocked car just wasn't wise. In the Navy, 
I ate, slept and shit with my weapon.
Alarm the car all you want, but take the gun when you leave it.
In Washington State, my neighbor was robbed of their handgun and it 
was promptly used on ME in a violent crime the NEXT WEEK!
