[DMCForum] Re: I must quit yet again (Warning: Christian Content)

Well, that's pretty messed up right there to think that in life you're
powerless. God isn't responsible for the screw-ups and misforuntes of
every single person on this planet. I seriously doubt that it's within
God's plan to create slavery, and keep people trapped in abusive
relationships. These are human institutions.

I mean, if you "misunderstood" your devine calling in life, doesn't
that mean that you are powerful? I mean after all, you have just
defied the will of God. Maybe it wasn't intentional, but it certainly
happened. You were able to alter the devine plans and workings of God.
Sorta if when God said "Let there be light!", you would have been
there to blow out the pilot light. No matter how small or
insignificant, you were able to exert more power.

Personally, I prefer the concept of Free Will. Keeps people more in
check, because it shifts the burdon of responsability of the actions
of a persons life back to where they belong: On the person in question.

It's like this converstaion that I once had. If you met God, and could
only have one question answered with absolute truth, what would you
ask. Sure there was the typical "Why do we suffer?", "What's the
purpose of life?" etc.. Me? My question would be simple: "How are you
doing?" It sounds like I mocking the subject, but I'm not. All my life
I've heard people put the blame of their miseries onto God. "God
didn't stop me from temptation!" or "Why did God let this happen to
me?" And everyone seems to have selfish prayers. Sure, it's good to be
thankful for your rewards in life, but has anyone ever just been
concerned about how God is doing? It's like having bratty kids. You
build them a planet, ya give them totaly control over it. You give
them inspiration. And they only time that they call to talk with you,
is when they want something. And no one ever takes the time to ask you
how you're doing. Everyone just assumes that God is OK, because God is
so all powerful, and must therefore be above emotion. But has anyone
ever asked, let alone cared?

That's just some of my random thoughts.
