[DMCForum] Re: Restoring interior trim... What to use?

Armor All is fine. I have been using it constantly for almost 16 years
with NO problems at all.

The main problems stem from people that try to polish a turd.

AKA, they use Armor All on a dash or vinyl trim that was abused, and
never treated properly before they took posession of it, and then
shortly after they started using it on a regular basis again, it
cracks.

Then they ignorantly blame it on Armor All. Then this just spirals
into some weird phenomenon to make people think they take better care
if they buy an ultra expensive vinyl protectant.

If you use it on a regular basis, and take care of the piece, and
don't just let it bake and languish in the sun, then you'll have good
results.

I usually see people who buy this expensive vinyl conditioners, only
seem to use just a little bit due to the price. The expensive ones are
great as well, but as long as you maintain the vehicle, Armor All is
fine. Cheaper and allows for more usage.

I actually prefer low gloss Armor All on my black interiors.
