You're going to fix it? I thought it was a parts car. I just took a whole
bunch of stuff off of it tonight. =)
Seriously though - where is your old fascia? Dan and I can't find it. Did
someone else take it home?

That's just me being smart, it is ok for the most part, just I ran
into several hurdles installing the new front fascia and ended up
leaving it torn apart at Dan's house, mainly after realizing that the
impact absorber was too far gone to salvage since it was bent, and me
not having a spare impact absorber on hand. :-)
Grady even told me that I could have made it fit probably, but later
on I would run the high risk of damaging the fascia from the impact
absorber pulling on it, and warping over time. When just replacing the
impact absorber would fix the issue.
Instead of risking damage to a $700 part over a damaged foam block, I
just swallowed my pride and parked my car in Dan's garage missing the
front end and hood, till I get the impact absorber. I mainly replaced
the fascia due to warpage, so I wasn't going to do it all again in a
few years.
Hopefully within the week, I'll have the absorber, and can then put
the car back together properly.
I just hitched a ride back to Ohio with Shannon. So in a week or so I
should have 16851 rebuilt again, (hopefully).
Later,
Joe
