Hence 30 MPG.

My point was: you can not reduce the fuel ratio in the same amount of
air without running dangerously lean. F Series already runs as lean as
possible, and yields 18-20 MPG. If air intake that yielded such is not
modified (reduced), yet MPG increases up to 50%, the only explanation
for such damatic gains is even leaner metering -- bad news.

Performance enhancements in other systems such as ignition may
increase MPG somewhat, but certainly not 50%!
