RE: [DMCForum] Climate control fan & hot relays

Ryan, That's normal. Up the value of the CB by 5 amps and you will cut down
on it over heating. The blower motors just draw a lot of current.

  Subject: [DMCForum] Climate control fan & hot relays

  Something's fishy with my electrical system; the climate control fan
  kicked off today while I was driving down the road. Must have tripped
  a circuit breaker, as it came back on after some number of seconds. I
  turned it down to "3" (it had been on "4") to run the current through
  the other relay for the time being and made my way home.

  Both fan speed relays were quite hot to the touch. Hot enough to be
  very uncomfortable touching for anything more than a quick tap;
  probably would leave a burn if you held your hand there for more than
  a few seconds. That can't be right.

  My fan blower is new (well, almost a year old now, but that's new
  enough for me). Can I just replace the relays? Or should I be looking
  at something else?

  -Ryan
