Considering how few miles I drive, I'd argue I'm much less of an
environmental hazard than city dwellers stuck in traffic several hours
per day.

Same effect as non-emissioned European automobile usage.

FYI: City of Laurinburg is killing me on garbage collection. Because I
live alone, only 1 bag per week gets thrown away. Costs me $19 per
month (does include curbside yard debris). Contrast that against my
electric bill: $30 per month (non summer A/C). Basically the city is
jacking up garbage collection in lieu of a tax increase. Rediculous.

BTW: The idea that 2 can live cheaper than 1 is false. My bills
plummeted when the ex-wife moved out.
