[DMCForum] Re: Largest DeLorean site on the web?

Sorry Mark, but this is absolutely false.  I always give credit when
credit is due.  You and others might find this shocking, but I
actually bought 95% of the articles that I hand scanned on the site,
and most all of the video clips were found by myself.  I do get tips
from people, but I still search for the footage myself.

If an article was given to me by someone, I have either cited their
help in the article section (very rarely have I needed to do this),
or in the update section page, where I have cited the help of a few
individuals recently.  Some people request that I do not cite their
help as well, so that comes into play.

Every picture on the site has been taken by myself or my brother,
and a few have been taken by my close friend Rich W., who I have
cited for his help.  I never use anyone's pictures they submit to me
via email, as I want to avoid copyright issues and maintain the high
quality of my site.  This requires me to visit all the car shows,
weird locations across the country to do interviews, and spend my
own money to get these things done.  For instance, I am flying to
Italy this summer to do an interview with Giugiaro himself for the
site.

All historical items have been bought by myself and hand scanned.
So overall, I can't really see where I need to be giving credit to
anyone.  In a sense, I pay homage to many unique cars and people by
doing interviews with them about their cars, etc., but these are
interviews I record, edit, and put on the site.

Just wanted to clarify my stance on this issue.  And thank you Mark
and everyone else for the compliments on the site, the main purpose
is to offer a unique and vast source of information for DeLorean
enthusiasts.

Regards,
Tamir
