RE: [DMCForum] Back to SUV!

That's right Marc she PROTECTED her son.  As long as there are bigger
vehicles out on the road I am going to drive one.  I would feel stupid
plugging my kids into a Mini to go run about town with 8000 lbs trucks
rolling around us.  In the end an SUV versus a car, the SUV will win.
Don't bring up rollover and the like I am just saying car versus car, I
want the one that's going to win!!!  I have yet to see a Taurus SHO run
against an Expedition and see the SHO win.

And now we are back to the discussion about how there
are too many SUV's on the road.

Fine, don't blame th engineering department.. Blame
the marketing department that targets soccer moms, and
commuters to buy these products.

All of the kids around here drive these monsters too,
I asked an acquaintance why she bought her 18 Yr old
son a Taho as a first car??  Her response, I want him
to be safe *WHEN* he is in an accident!  Ah, ok..  So
most of us know that new drivers are inexperienced,
and are much more likely to get in to an accident.
This SELFISH mother bought her son a machine which (in
her mind) will protect her son while killing the old
lady driving her neon home from the store.
