[DMCForum] Clevland 351s & free DeLorean DMC-12

I was at a car museum here in Missouri and was talking to the second 
man in command. My sister was bragging on me having a DeLorean and 
of course he went into the negative things about the cars and drugs. 
I just listened, to try to get some ammo against him. He was pretty 
knowledgable about them but he asked me if I had the PRV or the 351. 
I tried to tell him that all Ds only had the PRV from the factory 
but he got mad at me and since I hope to get a job there in a few 
years when I move up to Missouri I thought I would let it go. I find 
it funny, there are only about what 3,000 Bricklins yet everybody 
thinks of them being Ds. Marc has been an influence on me more than 
I thought:-)

While I was there I noticed they had the sunstar model of the DeLo. 
I asked him why the model was there and he told us that they had a 
DeLo with fuel injection problems that they could not figure out so 
the sent it to some specialty imort cars place and they claimed that 
it was going to cost $9K to fix it so the owner of the car just gave 
them the car and told them to give it anybody that wanted it for 
free. He also told me that the roof had wrinkles from the gullwing 
doors and something else that made the man sound retarted. I asked 
for the last five digits of the vin but he couldn't tell me, bummer.
Does anyone know of this car? It was in Springfeild MO. I wish I was 
here when they had it, even if I couldn't get it repaired I could 
say I had two DeLoreans and everyone would think I had money out of 
the wazoo. For those of you that more than one DeLorean, The most 
expensive car in my area is a Caddy Escalade on 22" spinners.
