Yea, and when you finally meet "her" you will find out you were doing all of
that the wrong way. ;)

I heartily agree. When people ask me how I have
managed to be single so long, I tell them that life is
a lot simpler and more pleasant in a number of ways.
I can sleep late, work late, stay out late, brush off
shopping trips, eat what I like, drink what I like,
smoke what I like, dress for comfort and function (not
for looks), skip a shave or two (or twelve), cut my
own hair, cook my own food, listen to my own music,
have silence when I need silence, live in a
two-bedroom apartment and not feel crowded, do things
on the spur of the moment (road trips, concerts,
etc.), have a huge eyesore of an audio system right in
the living-room where everybody can see it, spend
money on things no woman would find useful...
... and I still have leftover closet space.
Life may be full of sadness for someone who is not
used to being single, but I have decided to enjoy it,
and I have found there is much to enjoy.
