When I said, "Worth it", I wasn't talking about money. My SUV cost
twice what most people pay for a new car (not as much as an H2, but
still..). Money isn't the concern, convenience is.
By the way... What do you consider a "reasonable car"? My SUV gets the
same gas milage as my DeLorean (~20ish). A standard sedan would get me
into the mid to high 20s. From there I'd have to pick up a smaller
car, or a VW TDI, or a hybrid, to see real improvement. And none are
acceptable to me in terms of available interior space and "get where I
want to go, when I want to" (read: 4x4) power.
