There have been hilarious videos of stupid things people have done 
with the H1 as well - to hasten its early demise.   No vehicle is 
indestructable.    No, the tie-rod end shouldn't have broken on that 
rock field, and I am no defender of the H2, but I think in this case it 
was an inexperienced driver giving the vehicle a bad name.  I 
expected him any minute to let out with a huge

DUUUUUUDE!!

Just as an aside because I just thought of it, one of the funniest 
misconceptions I ever heard about Hummer came from a kid 
working at a tire shop:

"I hear that if you get a Hummer stuck in the mud the factory will 
give you a new one."

The kid was serious.
