I almost have 16634 close enough to compete. But being an 83 is it
even worth the time and effort to haul it to a car show?
In reality, I almost would rather just have it to enjoy myself, as I
doubt I will even have the time to go to the DMCH show this year.
I changed the master cylinder to the clutch with one of the newer
ones, so to be truly ready, I would half to replace it with an
original style one. I always could just move the Grady HCR one over
to one of the other cars.
I've had it up cleaning it for about 2 years off & on, just me being
anal.
I'm especially pissed since I posted a message to the DML
questioning if it was worth entering an 83, and it was rejected as
not being appropriate for the group. WTF???
Then... 2 or 3 messages about the SAME exact question I asked made
it to the DML, from "friends" of the moderators. The based approach
to what makes it to the DML and what doesn't just pisses me off
sometimes. How much more on topic can I be?
I might, but who knows, I still think the competition is overrated,
and it seems like just a bunch of people in a certain "clique" hang
together in the concours circle.
Maybe some year I'll suprise everyone and enter 16634.
But, probably not this year.
