The International DeLorean conventions held in Belfast in 1993, 1997 and  
Eurofest 2001 would not have happened without the magnificent support of the  
DOA.  You totally understate their involvement.   The DOA do  represent a 
world-wide constituency and have been in existence far longer than  any other 
DeLorean owners club.
At Eurofest 2001 DOA members were given a complimentary engraved piece of  
Irish crystal, at some considerable cost to the DOA.
 
I have involved myself again with the DOA along with DeLorean Owners  in 
Ireland for the official 25th anniversary Eurofest 2006.  This event  could not 
and would not be possible without their invaluable support.  Last  time you were 
charged an extra $10 as a non-member to attend!  If you can't  afford that 
then I'll even pick up the premium myself as a goodwill  gesture...
