Totally off the off topic subject. John, you mentioned the 
term "tourist trap". I recently found out where the term came from, 
and I actually live there!

I live in Niagara Falls. There are natural caves running right to the 
bottom of Niagara Falls (water erosion as the falls retreats). 
Apparently about 75 years ago a certain hotel dug a tunnel from their 
basement to one of these caves. They would advertise a "free" look at 
Niagara Falls from bottom looking up. What they did not say is that 
they placed a one-way turnstile so the tourists had to pay to get 
out!
