That is absolutely not the same thing and you know it.

Trading a material good with memories for a human life is entirely
different than trading a material good with memories for a stack of
green paper with no emotional memory or sentiment at all.

Of course I would trade the car for my wife, or anyone else's life
Even yours. Don't twist my words around as you often accuse me of
doing.

I'll say it one more time in case I wasn't clear above:

Trading a physical item (whatever sentimental value it has) for a
human life is no comparison to being willing to trade anything you
have for the required number of digits added to your bank statement
that you have no memory or experiences built into.

I would not trade my automobile for something as paltry as a stack
of cash unless it would serve a real, long term benefit such as
putting my kids through college or paying a medical bill but as long
as it's a transient benefit such as what 12-15k would provide, I'm
keeping it.
