I desperatley want to buy an electric vehicle for my means of 
transportation to and from work and around where I live. I only hope 
that some manufacturer see's the potential in the American consumer 
being fed up with the weekly rapings at the pump going up and down 
for no reason other than greed.

I wish GM would retool their EV1 line with an updates look and the 
new lithium batteries, instead of the bullshit hybrids that still 
ultimatley draw all their power from gasoline. So they are no threat 
to oil.

For any trips under 200 miles the electric car would be perfect for 
millions of people. Think about how much we could reduce our 
dependency on foreign oil if everyone that was making a trip that 
was less than 200 miles was driving NOT using oil. That altogether 
would reduce the burden we are facing with oil, skip the junk 
hybrids.

You can equip the roof of your garage with solar cells to sustain 
your power grid so that charging is virtually free or free with a 
surplus, and you will not be wasting energy from an electric plant 
to charge your vehicle.

I seriously want to live oil free for my daily use vehicle, as with 
the technology today, we don't need to depend on oil like we so 
crudley do. Greed, corporate greed is the only thing holding us back 
from realizing this wonderful oppurtunity.

Hopefully this Volvo concept will come to fruition soon. I would buy

I would love to own this, but would really prefer a two seater, as I 
wouldn't need the 3rd seat, but I'd still buy it if this was the 
only model available.
