If your windows are fogging up with ethyl glycol, the leak is in the
the heater core itself, not outside the passenger compartment. All you
need to look for is a suitable place to bypass it. On a DeLo I'd
recommend where the frame plumbing ends at the passenger wheel well.
Simply buy a foot or two of 5/8" heater hose (and treat yourself to a
couple of new clamps), remove the passenger wheel, remove the hoses
to/from the heater core, then connect the frame plumbing together with
a loop of new hose. Should take well less than an hour.
BTW: Implicit in my last post was the assumption that you may be
running abrasive tap water in your cooling systems. If you are, and if
it indeed tears up household copper plumbing (heater cores are also
usually made of copper), switch to gallon water from the store.
