This has absolutely nothing to do with ego's and "I told you so".  It does
has to do with honesty.  We don't actually know if it is indeed James doing
this, but from the evidence I have seen it is a bit overwhelming.  By this,
I mean that I didn't actually see him type the emails.

If you take the time to read the posts by "sonnyvr2000", you will see they
are most always bragging on Houston's great products and work.  I have no
problem with that, as long as it is from an actual customer.  To me, this
lends an air of mistrust because of deception.  It makes me wonder what
else, if anything, is being misrepresented.  I want to know that any company
I do business with where I spend an honest dollar, I get an honest product,
or service.  I also don't want them kissing my ass, and I will not kiss
theirs.  You know what condition my car is in; I will be spending lots of
money.

One's reputation should not be built on questionable practices.  There are
plenty of ways a company can promote themselves legally and ethically.  This
wasn't something that was just done once, someone got away with it, and
didn't do it again.  This has been going on for awhile, and the person
finally slipped up.

Will it effect me buying from Houston?  Not at all.  But keep in mind they
need us as much as we need them.  It is not like going to Wal-Mart or a GM
dealer; their market is very defined.  Our options of where to purchase are
also very defined.

Exactly Walt,

I agree with you, we shouldn't be chasing down a company who
actually makes parts for our limited production vehicles just to
satisfy ego's and win the battle of "I told you so".

Who really gives two shits if James advertised for DMCH using
another profile? He was basically educating newbies to the Delorean
community who ask dumb open ended questions. He really only answered
their questions.

Nothing major was done. Just let it die people, not even worth
worrying about here. Unless we are all saints, we all have done a
few things we'd like to forget about. We all have better things to
than complain about a few posts.
