OK Guys -- I have to tell you that I sell on EBAY pretty much for a
living.  At least it pays some bills and buys an occasional Delorean
part ;)
So I see both sides of the proverbial coin.  One one hand, agreeing
not to bid up an item is good for the bidders, certainly.  And OTOH,
as a seller I know that the bad kharma from this is going to bite me
in the ass someday.  The reason I don't have too much problem with
this is that the book is a photocopy so who knows how many times
the dude will copy and sell it.   It's not a finite item like a fender (oh
no! not THAT fender) or binnacle.
Yes, EBAY can be a dog-eat-dog world but that's what drives
Capitalism.  Greed.   I've been known to snipe my share of auctions,
too.
But this book is calling to me.  And since it's a photocopy, I figure
it's not really immoral to buy it and copy it among friends.  Certainly
beats bidding it up.
BTW, I'm **LP**Land on EBAY.  I sell mostly vintage clothes and
boots.
I know I'm rambling.  Gotta get back to work after screwing around
online all night last night.
