We haven't done that project yet, so I don't know what will be 
involved.  Ken is the one that wants to attempt it.  Looks like an awful 
lot of work to me.

Sorry I can't help more.  The way we cleaned up Mike Luckey's new frame 
was to take it to the sandblasters, then bring it home, and paint 
everything we could with POR-15, and what we couldn't with a rust 
inhibiting spray paint.
