ooooooohhhh... what an epiphany... that has only been happening since what,
humans existed?

Actually, if you look at the history of economics deficit spending is  a 
20th century phenomena.  Long term financing of public work projects are 
a different matter.

And how much do you owe the federal government? $70,000 now? due to 
Reagan and Bush.  


why is this bad?  Well, the $100,000,000,000 annual interest goes into 
the pockets of people who are rich and lend the money to the government.  
This money does not stimulate the economy.  

Can you imagine the positive effect on the economy of an additional 
$100,000,000,000 annually.  rather than it going into rich people pockets.  


Deficit spending (AS DOCUMENTED BY THE FEDERAL RESERVE) decreases our 
annual GDP by at least 1-2% .  that may sound small, but that represents 
1 - 2 million jobs!!!
