One of the bolts was held in by a fix from previous mechanic, the
right side one is still good. I fear it is too overtightened to be
relaxed enough to pull out. We opened up the door as far as we felt
safe doing and still had quite a bit of tension on the bar. I think I
like the dremmel idea and just replace the plate. I was thinking
cutting torches or plasma cutter, but both would/could have caused
more damage.
I keep thinking about waiting until I get back form my NY trip and
just take a weekend and run it to Houston and let them take care of it
when they get the time lol, I know they are terribly busy right now.
