oh, If you have a Digital MM, put the meter across the battery and it should
be 12.66 volts or a little higher. This means the battery will hold a
charge. I would charge it over night and then check it in the morning and
then check it in a few days to see if the voltage is still 12.66 or better.
This is the easiest way to make sure it's being charged by the alternator
and the battery is good and not being over drained.

Quite honestly, had I been told about the alternator I would have
gotten a new 130 (140?) from you rather than rebuild the old one but
I think Keith was honestly trying to save me some money.
Everyone at the shop was amazed when I told them that the
concensus is that 90 amps cold is underpowered.
Now I'm wondering if the rigged fan switch is causing a short. We'll
see if the car starts tomorrow. The charger is sitting next to it just
in case........................LP
