Thanks for all the suggestions.  The rear T-panel is hooked into the 
center bracket and fits tight against the passenger side.  From 
poking around I think it's just permanently warped on the driver's 
side - way beyond double-sided tape, velcro or a paper clip.  I'll use 
Toby's idea of aluminum strips when I get around to R/Ring the 
panels.  

LOL - since so much of the car is over-designed - at least well 
designed -  couldn't JZD have put some brackets on the sides, too?
