I'd hardly call my work a "spaghetti bowl".  The extra length on the 
harness is neatly zip tied to the vertical stabilizers on the front facia 
behind the fake grille.  There are no tangles and all the extra wire is 
wrapped in in two places (one for each side of the car).

Sure, I could have shortened the harness, but why bother?
