So Reagan was bad and now is good... you keep flip-flopping :)  I had to
verify this with a friend since it was so long ago, but I seem to remember
there being republicans in the house and the senate who forced him to do so.
Wouldn't it be more proper to say Newt Gingrich paid the debt off?

But, yet, Reagan has been criticized for spending too much on the military,
and Clinton downsized the military... hmm...
