Uh...20-22 months ago. Warren related to me that it was also around 
the time that they ran out of NOS pumps and started selling new ones.

It alternates between a normal hum and making a hell of a racket, and 
it's not always related to the fuel level or how far immersed in fuel 
it is. It is not related to my pick up hose.

It does however appear to put out a constant pressure, albeit 
slightly below manual specs.  What I'm concerned about, is that the 
check valve in the pump may be failing.
