[DMCForum] Re: door struts

Got my door struts today from DMCH and installed them this evening.  
I like them a lot.  The doors open fully on their own now, and they 
slow down on the second half and come to a gentle stop.  With my 
previous struts, both doors stayed up if lifted all the way, but 
would only open halfway on their own.  I also like that both the 
piston AND rod are black on these new ones.  It's a matter of 
personal preference I guess, but I think the all-black "hides" the 
struts better.
