Would it not fit if mounted transversely?  Hmm... I guess it would have to
be installed 180 degrees though.

Eh... get an adapter plate and mount whatever you want.  You did have a bell
housing or something made, right?  Have you seen these people?

I would think Chrysler put that engine in something with a manual gear box,
or at least the mounting surface would match something else they have.  If
only the Prowler would have been offered in a five-speed.
