I just successfully replaced my broken Tripometer reset button without 
removing the needle. I found out that this can be a simple job if you 
have the patience, small tools and a new or used tripometer 
button/shaft. If anybody is interested in getting their broken 
tripometer fixed and has a donor reset button/shaft contact me and i 
can do it cheap.
