The work I'm involved with includes cryogenics. Similarly, we never 
use the term cold when talking about temperatures reaching near 
absolute zero. We talk in terms of heat or lack of heat. Physics is 
an odd discipline.
Very familar with the AVS and even walked one of their shows many 
years ago to determine if it would be worthwhile for our company to 
exhibit there. 
Not a member of AVS, so I guess I don't suck :-).
