Ask Louie Golden. He's running my spare Series 038 right now. Seems
very happy with it. I'm beginning to wonder if he'd even give it back
should I ever need it (which of course I won't if I stick with the
Motorcraft/Holley carb).
Series 038 is *SLIGHTLY* richer than Series 066. Biggest difference is
warm up time (about twice as long) and incredibly simple full throttle
advance. Everything else on his engine is unchanged (idle speed motor
is bypassed, but that of course has no effect on the road). We
adjusted his CO by ear. There's a possibility we adjusted it past
Lambda's ability to screw with the mixture, or a possibility his
Lambda isn't working properly anyway, because his car outperforms
every other DeLo I've ever ridden in. I maintain F series PRV's as
imported run in a perpetual state of fuel starvation.
