Sounds like NASCAR is being run by liberals now. Soon they'll want everyone
to cross the finish line together, so there are no winners and no losers --
just everyone trying their hardest and having fun! =)
Personally, I am against restrictor plates and such... but... we live in the
real world, and the majority of the tracks just weren't designed for 220+
MPH. Oh well.

Did you catch the AP blurb today that NASCAR is going to limit RPM's
next year? Is an attempt to "level the playing field." As I've said
all along: some engines produce their Oomph not from inherent torque,
but from simply spinning themselves faster and faster (which means
they in fact have have no Oomph if they can't do that, say by a
sanctioning body...)
