Here's something to try: temporarily disconnect your charcoal
canister. Purge line is activated by vacuum ported from the throttle
plates.

Along the same line, ensure your PCV system is totally clear. Clogged
PCV valves cause all sorts of mischief (I know we don't have a valve,
but SOMETHING'S going on inside that thing on the driver valve cover).

Why don't you temporarily disable every form of fuel enrichment to
definitely eliminate that as a possible cause. Unplug the cold start
injector at the same time just in case some sort of wierd short is
grounding it (your throttle linkage isn't rubbing against any wiring,
is it?).
