Well, I'm not old enough or rich enough to run. Besides which, I don't 
think I could become a part of a system which makes my stomach turn 
anyway. If I were in charge, lobbyists would do all their business in 
writing, anyone with a low enough I.Q. would be forbidden from having 
children, and we would have a nationwide salary cap... for starters.

Quite right, which is why I find all of this argument hilarious. It's 
pointless to talk about the past unless you're looking to gain knowledge 
for making future decisions. Petty recrimination is a step away from 
mere abuse, and it does nobody any good. (Although I must admit it's 
pretty entertaining to see everybody get their panties in a wad about 
things they can't change any more than they can change what they had for 
breakfast yesterday. LOL)
