If Bush sr. put the economy in the toilet, are you implying Reagan was doing
a better job?  We already know you don't like Reagan.  Your statement here
makes it seem like Reagan was doing a better job, but previously you stated
he handled things poorly.

It takes time for effects to propagate.  The actions taken by one
administration are quite often not seen until the next administration.
Clinton taking office did not immediately effect the economy and make it
instantaneously better.  There were other people ahead of him putting things
into action, of which he took credit for.  Subsequently, anything bad
happening during any administration is blamed on that administration, which
is not always the case since it still takes time for things to propagate.

As I have mentioned several times before, and you have recently as well,
there is that nasty little event that happened on September 11, 2001.  That
would tend to shake things up a little bit.
