Well first you would have to subscribe to the conspiracy theory that the
Bush administration would do something like this.  Then, when it happens and
the Kerry people can't handle it, the Bush people swoop in and save the day,
thus making Kerry look inept and Bush the hero.

The 'new president' also knows how to rally against war, too.

How would a "find" during the DNC affect anything? We knew Kerry was going
to be chosen.  Nothing would be gained anywhere by doing that.  I believe
with Marc here, I think many of these warnings are either made up or bloated
up to make the fear continue.  I find it hard to believe that pre Sept 11
that there were no warnings weekly, but now since there is everything from
model airplanes to car/truck bombs.  We now live 'could' live in constant
fear if we chose to, and Bush would Love that (keep him here 4 more years to
keep us safe).

Further the World knows of our political system even if they don't like it,
so seeing a President not get re-elected I doubt would foster more attacks,
especially when the new president actually knows about War and fighting...
Hmmmmm.

Then why, as I asked before, didn't they stage a 'find' when the DNC was
going on?  That would have made more sense than to do one when they are
having their own convention.
