Trend? Nah. I said "tend", as in "tendency". To imply a trend means
that it's fashionable, and I think girls go for assholes not because
it's fashionable but because assholes usually have money, and women
like to think they can "tame" such men.
Back to Henry Ford: I don't hate the guy. I know very little about
him. Why waste emotion and effort on a dead man? I heard he was a
great businessman and a great jerk. (That's not uncommon. A lot of men
get to be rich by being ruthless, cruel, and otherwise inhuman. They
also tend to have beautiful wives. See above.)
Nor do I hate Ford trucks; mine has yet to give me a problem (then
again, I only have 98,000 miles on it... so far).

very funny!!!! but what is it that you guys hate the old man so much?
He's dead and just today so many people were making comments about
Ford trucks. The car I first drove ever was an F-1000 (my father had
one when I was a kid), really cool! Many years later,I downgraded to
a Neon, but what can I do?
And what kind of "nice girl trend" is that?
