[DMCForum] Re: stupid driving lesson question

Odd, Greg and I were having a similar conversation about how to
drive the DeLorean just the other day.

I tend to drive the DeLorean like I drove my old Porsche 944. I
usually shift between 4K and 5K RPMs (if traffic allows). Of course,
this can only been done in the lower gears. I rarely go over 75 MPH,
but I tend to get there quickly. I do not consider this driving
style abuse and I think the PRV can handle this - any comments?

!! *Warning Bill R. and Martin - Skip over this paragraph* !! I
think the PRV has a fair amount of torque, power, whatever in the
3K - 4K RPM range and driving as I do gives me the best sports car
feeling possible in my stock PRV DeLorean.

My driving style probably explains why I get 18 MPG instead of the
25 MPG others report. What gas mileage does everyone get? I run 89
octane gas, what does everyone else run?
