Very true. That is why I say I could have easily married a psycho.
Happened to my brother. He found a "nice" girl got married and she
turned into a nut. She decided she didn't want to work anymore.
She wanted to stay home and play with her horse and dog. Wanted my
brother to buy her more horses. She didn't want to take care of
them, just play with them. My brother had to do all the work.
I got lucky because the woman I thought I was marrying turned out to
be the woman I did marry. 16 years and 2 kids later we are still
going strong. It probably helped too that we were both in the
military when we met. You get a certain amount of level headedness
kicked into you real quick. When we got out, she worked full time
to put me through college. Then I did the same for her.
