is it possible, then, that an underpowered alternator could be one 
cause of the door locks solenoid not opening the door?  I'm thinking 
this only because the driver's window on 10440 will only go up if I 
give the car some gas which, John Hervey explained, is because of 
the alternator.  So, thinking this through, might my unpredicatable 
door locks lock and unlock properly if I gave the car some gas?  I'd 
go try it right now, but I still don't have my D back -- this week, I 
hope!!
