You don't wanna know my list of parts :) Just kidding. By the way, does
anyone know the LOA of the rear-mounted antenna? I have a vendor with a few
black mast antennas that he is trying to close out, since they have been
discontinued, and I can get pretty cheap. The one in my car is broken so I
have no way to know. Anyone? Beuhler?

In less than 3 months of ownership, I've assembled quite a list of
fixes and improvements made to my car. And I bought a good car - one
owner, driven almost regularly (46k miles when I bought it) &
maintained decently. Quite frankly I'm starting to question this whole
DeLorean ownership thing. Nobody told me there would be this much work
involved. (Only kidding! I love working on this car. I'd replaced that
darn radiator ten times in a row if I had to.)
Here's my list thus far:
- New power antenna
- New power mirror switch
- New fuel accumulator
- New fuel baffle system
- New hood struts
- New louvre struts
- New driver's side door switches
- New forward interior light
- New upper (left) radiator hose
- New A/C pressure switch, new valves at compressor, A/C recharged
- New Michelin Pilot XGT tires
- New radiator hoses throughout entire car
- New three core brass radiator
- New power antenna
- New plugs, wires, cap & rotor (June 2004)
- New air filter (June 2004)
- New louver latch point (metal "U" piece on engine cover)
- New air intake hose
- Replaced door lights with LEDs
- Replaced A/C panel lights with LEDs (except rear defrost)
- Replaced both door lock solenoids with liner actuators
- Rebuilt door lock controller: New relays, replaced resistors &
transistors for lower standby current
- Replaced otterstat with lower temperature unit (on @ 196F, off @
185F; original is on @ 207F, off @ 196F)
- Recovered headliner (front "T" section & rear)
- Rewired A/C panel lights to only come on with headlights
- Cleaned & soldered all joints on driver's side taillight board
- Added 2 way long range paging alarm system / remote start / keyless
entry
- Added door launchers
- Added battery cutoff switch
- Added manual bleeder to upper radiator bleed hose
- Added auto bleeder to rear coolant bleed lines
- Added Eclipse sound system: 4" Boston Acoustic speakers up front,
6.5" in rear
- Added 20% tint
Also have Toby Tabs and a new fuel filter here waiting to be installed.
Man, this is addictive.
