I'm not about to enter my car in a judged contest. Has no hope of
winning. Would be a total waste of the judges time, and my own.

Who wouldn't like a show quality DeLorean? Unfortunately not all
owners have the resources to make one. Some of us are lucky just to be
in the club, cosmetic flaws and all.

But fixer-uppers do want to be included in DCS. Just don't subject us
to judges' scrutiny. We already know what's wrong with our cars --
without someone with a clipboard to telling us!

Pigeon Forge would have been improved if the indoor display had been
emulated in the parking lot (apparently the original plan). A
designated roped off area would have made outdoor owners feel like
part of the show. As it was we were fighting for the same parking
spaces with Hondas and Subarus. More like the general public than show
participants.
