I feel your frustration.  Feel mine --- the city of Tucson won't let me 
have two steps down into a sunken bedroom without installing 
handrails.  Why doesn't city code  just mandate that all people use 
walkers?  BTW, I've already been busted for too many non-running 
cars - and they were behind a block wall!  They were my husband's 
dead SAABS and frankly I wasn't sad to see them leave.  But just to 
make a point I wanted to paint of mural of a junkyard on the street 
side of that block wall.
