Might as well ask a AC question that has been bugging
me..
They have these machines now that capture the freon
when you evacuate a system.
I see that there is a tool to test the freon in a
system to make sure it is "pure" before one captures
it (to make sure they dont contaminate their supply).
But... What happens if a moron does not properly
evacuate a system, then pumps it full of R-12. Then
at some later date, brings the car in to have it
properly evacuated (with a capture). Does the air in
the system get in to the captured R-12 can?? or does
this capture machine somhow seperate any air/moisture
that may be in the system?
