[DMCForum] Door Lock trivia

I may be close to solving this but just wanted a door "expert" to chime in.....My doors seem to act up about every 6 months. I have lockzilla and installed my own remote entry system. 

The doors unlock and lock perfectly...however, sometimes the unlock button has no effect on them. I know it is working becasue I hear the clicking sound in the relay area and the marker lights blink. WHat I found out is that by unlocking my passenger door with a akey it will unlcok both doors. If I unlock my drivers side door with the key it will NOT unlock the passenger side. 

The same is true when I am in the car. If I push the button on the passenger side it controls both doors if I use the drivers side button it will only work the drivers side. I am going to go into the door in the next few days and troubleshoot but this sounds like a common problem. I am going to look at the switch in the door but if someone can put in writing why one side works on both and the other can not..
