Travis...group,
Believe it or not I was just going to post the same question
:-). I am working on my doors too. At the social Rob Grady repaired my door latch problem and totally cleaned the inside and all the trim on my door. He replaced about 5 missing screws, ripped out my old fir trees, put new ones in, ran 1/4 inch black weatehrsripping along the bottom, reglued the handle section etc. If you saw Rob work he looked like a surgeon. Before long there were 8 people watching rob restore my door to new condition. He even replaced and refit the black plastic trim piece thats fits around the door handle. It is now firmly in place and does not move around. It was well worth the cost and now I can fix my other door.
Now that I am home doing it I also noticed the felt piece is nasty looking. I spoke to Rob and there really is no perfect replacement out there. I was thinking someone has found something comparable at JoAnn's or Michaels or an auto shop???
I also figured if anyone new what to do it would have been Travis :-)
