I never noticed such a thing on my cars.  Maybe
someone replaced it on your are already with "sheilded
wire"??  Try disconnecting that wire, and bypass it
with a new one.

Also, your noise capacitor may be dying..  It is the
metal cylinder the the tail right under the coil.
